STRUCTURAL APPRAISAL

MCS requires that installers assess the structure that the solar PV panels and or batteries will be installed on.  Solar Partner uses a design program to assess whether the structure is suitable to withstand the additional loads.  The assessment includes - 

• Weight Loading 
• Snow Load 
• Wind Loading

In the event the structure is not of standard construction, Solar Partner will arrange for the structure to be assessed by a independent structural engineer.  This is very important for the structural integrity of the building/roof, but also to ensure Building Control Approvals can be obtained.  Building Control Approval will be required in the event the building / structure is sold.
